We take a look at the key games coming up this weekend in Ohio high school football. One of the key games Friday will be the battle of Painesville as Riverside visits Harvey, which features OSU verbal commitment wide receiver Chris Fields. Click here to see where all of the OSU recruits will be in action.
Here is a look at some of the key games in Ohio high school football this coming weekend:

Fox Sports Net Ohio will televise a pair of games Thursday night. In northeast Ohio, FSN will have coverage of Medina at Wadsworth at 7 p.m. In southeast Ohio, FSN will have coverage of Indian Hill at Cincinnati Turpin at 7 p.m.

On Friday, Ohio News Network will have tape delay coverage of Solon at Mentor at 10 p.m. Mentor defeated Solon 27-0 last year.

On Friday, PressBoxProductions.com will have an audiocast of the game between Louisville and Akron Hoban at 7:30 p.m. That site will also have its weekly Talkin' Football show at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Here is the link to that site:

More key games on Friday: Indianapolis Cathedral at Cincinnati St. Xavier, Toledo St. John’s (St. John’s features OSU verbal OL Jack Mewhort) at Strongsville, Painesville Riverside at Painesville Harvey (with OSU verbal WR Chris Fields), Upper Arlington at Findlay, Sunbury Big Walnut at Lewis Center Olentangy, Cambridge at Newark Licking Valley (with OSU verbal LB Storm Klein), Coldwater (with OSU verbal RB-LB Adam Homan) at Versailles, Columbus Brookhaven at Dayton Chaminade-Julienne, Westerville South at Clayton Northmont (with OSU verbal CB C.J. Frederick (Md.) Tuscarora (with OSU verbal DB Dominic Clarke) opens Friday against Frederick, Md.

Naples, Fla., (with OSU verbal RB Carlos Hyde) hosts Miami Monsignor Pace Friday.

Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway (with OSU verbals LB Dorian Bell and DB Corey Brown) hosts Baldwin Friday.

Jeannette, Pa., (with OSU verbal RB Jordan Hall) visits Brownsville Friday.

Grosse Point (Mich.) South (with OSU verbal TE Reid Fragel)visits Grosse Point (Mich.) North Friday.

Grand Ledge, Mich., (with OSU verbal WR James Jackson) visits Okemos, Mich., Friday.

Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro (with DT Corey Adams) is idle; Saguaro opens Sept. 12 against Sahuaro.

Miami (Fla.) Palmetto (with RB Jaamal Berry) visits Christopher Columbus Friday.
