Groce Accepts Offer From Bobcats

John Groce is about to cut the cord from Thad Matta as he will be introduced as the next head coach at Ohio University on Friday afternoon. Ohio U. has scheduled a 1 p.m. press conference. Groce will replace Tim O'Shea, who left the school after a seven-year stint to move back to the East Coast. A 36-year-old native of Indiana, Groce has helped OSU to two Big Ten titles, a Final Four appearance and an NIT championship.
