Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic lost to Palm Beach Lake 31-21 on Friday. Though his team lost, wide receiver James Louis had a big game. Louis caught 5 passes for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. One of Louis’ scores was a 75-yard TD reception. With the loss came the end of Louis’ prep football career for Atlantic. He does however have one more high school game, the Under Armour All-American game in Florida Jan. 2.

Cleveland St. Ignatius went down to defeat 30-13 to Cleveland Glenville on Saturday. In last year’s state title game linebacker Scott McVey had a huge game. But he and his teammates won’t repeat as state champs this year.

Cincinnati Anderson defeated Middletown 41-20 on Saturday. Offensive lineman Andrew Norwell remains out with a broken left leg.

Solon defeated Mayfield 13-10 in overtime on Saturday. Defensive end Darryl Baldwin sustained an ankle sprain early in the second quarter against Euclid in the first round of the playoffs, but returned to action against Mayfield. He made one solo tackle, had four assists and was in on two tackles for loss.

Springfield (Pa.) Cardinal O’Hara lost to Philadelphia LaSalle 31-21 on Saturday. Running back Corey Brown and his teammates had lost to LaSalle 24-14 the weekend before.

Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy lost to Collegiate 35-13. Linebacker Jamel Turner and his teammates dropped to 7-4 on the season.

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian defeated Ravenscroft 48-20 on Friday night in the second round of the playoffs. David Durham had a couple tackles for loss and was in on a couple sacks.

Cleveland Glenville (Christian Bryant, Latwan Anderson and Shane Wynn) defeated Cleveland St. Ignatius 30-13.
Philadelphia (Pa.) George Washington (Sharrif Floyd) defeated Northeast 40-0.
Palmdale, Calif., (Josh Shaw) defeated Highland 37-13.
St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham (Seantrel Henderson) defeated Eastview 27-24.
Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas (LaMarcus Joyner and Brandon Linder) defeated Cypress Bay 35-0.
Detroit Southeastern (Johnathan Hankins) lost to Utica Stevenson 38-32.
Tampa (Fla.) Catholic (Chaz Green) lost to Jesuit 24-14.
