Defensive back Cullen Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) has made official visits to UCLA and West Virginia, but did not visit Pitt this past weekend. Will he be in Columbus for the Big Ten showdown between the Buckeyes and Iowa Hawkeyes?
This past weekend defensive back Cullen Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) was scheduled to make an official visit to Pitt as the Panthers hosted Syracuse. However, the visit did not happen.
“I didn’t go,” Christian said. “They weren’t having any official visits for some reason. So I’ll just go over there for a practice.”
Since he did not visit Pitt, Christian was able to watch the Ohio State-Penn State game on TV.
“(Ohio State) was impressive,” Christian said. “I didn’t think they were going to pull it out. But everyone was hyped up. (Terrelle) Pryor impressed me too.”
Christian said he is still planning to make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend when the Buckeyes play Iowa.
Two weeks ago Christian said West Virginia, Michigan and UCLA were his top three in no particular order. On Sunday night he said the same thing, but also said he is looking forward to his visit with the Buckeyes.
“I’ll really find out how much I like them (this weekend),” Christian said.
The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Christian attended the Ohio State-USC game on an unofficial visit and came away impressed. However, he did not have a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes at that time. Once the offer came at the beginning of October it did not take Christian long to decide he wanted to make a trip back to Ohio State.
