Sophomore running back Daniel "Boom" Herron had missed three of OSU's last four games due to an ankle injury.
But Herron returned in a big way Saturday against New Mexico State.
Herron had six carries for 66 yards, including a 53-yard touchdown run, as the Buckeyes dispatched NMSU 45-0.
Herron pronounced himself ready to go for OSU's tough stretch run beginning with Saturday's game at New Mexico State.
For the year, Herron has now rushed for 307 yards and six touchdowns on 72 carries (4.3 average).
