Springfield (Pa.) Cardinal O’Hara bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 49-10 victory over Father Judge on Thursday.  Running back Corey Brown had a huge game accounting for over 300 yards of offense rushing and receiving.  He had four touchdowns.

Youngstown Boardman defeated Austintown Fitch 24-21 on Friday.  J.T. Moore had another big game making 14 tackles including two sacks.

Cleveland St. Ignatius defeated Lakewood St. Edward on Saturday 28-0.  Scott McVey and his teammates head for the playoffs with a perfect 10-0 record.

Solon defeated Strongsville 35-17 on Friday.  Defensive end Darryl Baldwin had an outstanding game.  He made two solo tackles, had five assists and three tackles for loss.  Baldwin also had one catch, a 17-yard touchdown reception.

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian defeated Charlotte Providence 27-7 on Friday.  David Durham played middle and outside linebacker as well as fullback and running back.  He had a sack and several quarterback ‘hurries.’  Durham also caught three passes and scored a touchdown.

Up Next: Christian is a No. 1 seed so they have a first-round playoff bye

 

East Cleveland Shaw lost to Euclid 16-0 on Friday.  Wide receiver Tyrone Williams did not have a catch for the first time this season.

In the second round of the playoffs Ft. Wayne (Ind.) Harding lost to Eastbrook 21-14.  The game marked the end of running back Rod Smith’s football career for Harding.

Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic lost to Boca  Raton 34-27 on Friday.  Wide receiver James Louis and his teammates lost by the score of 34-27 for the second week in a row.

Chillicothe lost to Logan 51-14 on Friday.   Drew Basil made both of his extra point attempts.  He did not attempt a field goal.  Basil punted seven times and averaged just over 35 yards per boot.

Cincinnati Anderson defeated Harrison 53-37 on Friday.  Offensive lineman Andrew Norwell remains out with a broken left leg.

Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy defeated Fork Union Benedictine 22-15 on Saturday.  Linebacker Jamel Turner and his teammates are now 6-3 on the season.

Canonsburg (Pa.) Canon-McMillan lost to Peters Township 41-21 on Friday.  Chad Hagan and his teammates dropped to 3-6 on the season.

Wheaton (Ill.) North defeated Rockford Boylan 17-14 on Friday.  QB Taylor Graham again did not play as he recovers from a torn PCL in his right knee.

Toledo Whitmer defeated Toledo Start 21-7 on Friday.  Junior defensive end Kenny Hayes made eight tackles including a sack.

Canton McKinley defeated Massillon Washington 35-21.  The Buckeyes’ newest commitment, junior defensive end Steve Miller, celebrated his Ohio State commitment with a big win on Saturday night.

Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy (PG) and Carlos Hyde went down to defeat 64-6 to the University of South Alabama.

West Chester Lakota West (Jordan Hicks) defeated Lakota East 17-5.

Cincinnati St. Xavier (Matt James) defeated Cincinnati Moeller 13-10.

Cleveland Glenville (Christian Bryant, Latwan Anderson and Shane Wynn) defeated Cleveland East 35-0

Huber Heights Wayne (Braxton Miller) defeated Springfield 40-13.

Akron St. Vincent St. Mary (Doran Grant) lost to Ursuline 38-24

Palmdale, Calif., (Josh Shaw) defeated Littlerock 62-28.

St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham (Seantrel Henderson) defeated Eagan 21-20.

Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas (LaMarcus Joyner, Brandon Linder and Keion Payne) defeated Deerfield Beach 27-0.

Tampa (Fla.) Catholic (Chaz Green) defeated Mulberry 24-14.

Oil City, Pa. (Ben Koyack) defeated Hickory 19-0.
