In his ESPN.com Southeast blog today, JC Shurburtt reports that five-star cornerback Lamarcus Joyner (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) said that he plans to be in Tallahassee this weekend for Florida State's home game with Maryland.

Joyner will join several other visitors for the game, including fellow Under Armour All-American linebacker Jeff Luc (Port Saint Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast).

The Seminoles have long been considered the team to beat for Joyner, but Ohio State also has been strong for quite some time.  Joyner made an official visit to Ohio State the weekend of Sept. 12 when the Buckeyes played USC.

Joyner is the nation's No. 5 overall prospect according to Scouts Inc.
