The saying goes "the smaller you are, the faster you better be" when it comes to college football recruiting. When Shane Wynn, the 5-8 WR from Glenville, got his offer from OSU a few weeks back, this saying was never more true.
Today we look at another undersized WR/ATH from the Cleveland area in Maple Heights High School product Shaq Washington. If you read the Bucknuts.com Front Row, you have already learned that Shaq has transferred from Glenville to Maple Heights this season.
Shaq is the starting QB for Maple Heights now and through five games this season, he has put together quite a highlight video. Being just 5-9 and 165 pounds, if Shaq was not fast we could not even talk about him as an elite high school prospect. But needless to say, his video will show lightning quickness, acceleration, and speed.
In addition to the game highlights, there is also a portion of the video filmed during Shaq's off-season combine workouts where he lines up at WR. This is the portion of the video that I found very interesting because he displays elite WR skills. While watching his game highlights, you wonder if he can project to WR. Then you see him play WR during combine drills and all those questions are answered.
