Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville defensive back Christian Bryant made his third official visit this weekend.  After visiting Ohio State and Michigan State, Bryant was in Chapel Hill making an official visit to North Carolina.

Even before Bryant headed home, rumors were already circulating that he had committed to North Carolina.  Bucknuts.com caught up with Bryant just as he was getting ready to board the plane and head back to Cleveland.

Bucknuts.com asked Bryant if he had committed to the Tar Heels?

“Oh, no, I didn’t commit,” Bryant said.

However, after recently saying that Ohio State was his leader, Bryant indicated today that his official visit to North Carolina has tightened things up.

When asked if the Buckeyes are still on the top of his list, Bryant said, “Right now.  But I have to go back home and debate some things.  I have to look at the pro’s and con’s of the schools and look at everything.  I’d have to say Ohio State and North Carolina are about 50/50.”

Last week Bryant said he would probably make an official visit to Miami or Virginia the weekend of Jan. 22.  Now he is not so sure.

“I’m not sure if I’ll make a visit next weekend,” Bryant said.

With that Bryant had to turn off his phone for his flight back to Ohio.

Bryant played cornerback, safety, wide receiver and quarterback during his senior season.  He also returned kickoffs and handled Glenville’s punting and kicking duties.  He made 80 plus tackles and had four interceptions.  Bryant returned two of the pickoffs for touchdowns.  He also had five receiving touchdowns and three rushing

Bryant plans to announce his college choice on Jan. 26 at a press conference at Glenville High School.

Kurelic’s Comment: It is not uncommon for a prospect to be excited about a school immediately after making an official visit.  In the end I still like the Buckeyes’ chances with Bryant.
