In his second trip to the state meet to compete in both the shot put and discus events, Longo recorded a fourth-place finish in the shot put to reach the podium inside Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.  Longo and his future roommate at Ohio State, Corey Linsley, will both play in the Big 33 Classic before enrolling in the summer quarter at OSU.
