Linsley Wins State Discus Title For Retiring Coach

Although he might have been considered the favorite in the shot put going into the state meet to every one but his season-long rival, Corey Linsley of Boardman High School won the discus event at the state meet and finished second to Canfield's Dustin Brode in the shot put competition.  Linsley had dedicated his season and now his state title to the long-time shot and discus coach of the Spartans.
